ORIGIN
In his youth while visiting family in Mexico, Robert and his brother discovered and played a game called “words”. It was fundamentally informal, a single word being used within a joke, and all about the people. They introduced it to their friends back in the states and it became a party tradition.
A decade later, after Robert and Alex finished playing some adult party games. Robert called Alex and said “We need to make “Words” into a card game!” We were far more entertained by “Words” than any other party game out on the market. Fours years later, Humor Me was brought to fruition. The blending of improvisational comedy with a card game was what inspired us. We wanted to bring to market a game in which the players humor took precedence over ours. A game that neither encourages nor does it discourage any type of humor. We wanted to encourage everyone’s inner comedian to step out into the light.

Many of the friends that we met while growing up in Rochester have contributed to the development of this game. All the content in Humor Me was curated and tested over four memorable years, making it easy for you to create simple and creative statements that follow a punchline. The game points don’t matter but the quality time spent with friends and family does. We made it a point that Humor Me makes for some of the best time spent with loved ones.
